Onion Bowl - Glass Cutting Board

At my husband's suggestion, I tried painting this still life of a bowl of onions using paint straight from the tube. I love the richness of the colors and the contrast of blue, gold and red. It got a little abstract but it has a lot of light in it.

As a glass cheese or bread board, it adds a colorful, artsy look to the kitchen. It can be stored by a window, giving it a stained glass effect.
