These photographs are from my series "A Feminist View of the Mechanical World."
I photographed the inside of paper mills, a gravel pit, a sawmill and other fascinating industrial locations. I loved the forms and the way the light hit them. These places still stand as testaments to the Berkshires' rich industrial heritage. I wanted to have viewers see them through a woman's eyes, as objects of beauty and design.
The standard prints are 12 x 18" and if you want other sizes or surfaces please click on the image.
