This image was painted at a Charles Reid workshop, in which he laid out a long table with various still life objects. I really FELT the watery quality of the vases, and the dance of the fruit, the flowers and the lines of the striped tablecloth. This has been one of my most popular prints, and I finally decided it too would be immortalized as a placemat. It has been a best seller.
