This tempered glass 11 x 15" watercolor cutting board makes a unique and memorable wedding or housewarming gift.
This watercolor was painted in a Charles Reid workshop from a long table with lots of vases and fruits. I was drawn to the water in the various vases, and the whole thing was painted very loosely and gesturally. I like the airiness of the image, and how everything seems to continue past its borders. The vibrant reds ground the more pastel greens, pinks yellows and lavenders. It has a very ethereal quality.
As a glass cheese or bread board, it adds a colorful, artsy look to the kitchen. It can be stored by a window, giving it a stained glass effect.
