Most of the artwork in this collection are watercolors that were painted en plain-air, and in some cases using photographs to complete them in the studio. Each watercolor painting is a visual record of the hours I was able to spend in deep reverence for what I was seeing and feeling. I often experiment with different color palettes, paint application techniques, and approaches to a subject. I usually paint several versions of the same subject, as that helps me to better understand its complexity.I also enjoy playing with various mixed media, such as ink, collage, pastels, and glued papers.
